XIONG Jiuling Visits Rome Chamber of Commerce and Attends the C5 Meeting Held in Paris

From 1 to 9 September 2011, head of CCPIT Beijing Ms. XIONG Jiuling visited Rome chamber of commerce and attended the C5 meeting in Paris at the invitation of Rome chamber of commerce and chamber of commerce and industry of Paris. While in Rome, XIONG held talks with chairman of Rome chamber of commerce and signed a cooperative agreement with him; she also met with Mr. Francesco Marcolini, official from the Rome City Hall in charge of the cultural exchange programs and held discussions with him on prospective cooperation in creative industry.

From 7 to 9 September, President XIONG attended the C5 meeting in Paris where her presence was found in the themed meeting of Design Innovation and City Development, social networking breakfast and exhibition tours; she engaged in talks with industry professionals from Paris on such topics as cultural creative, design, catering, trade and commerce, convention and exhibitions. In addition, XIONG also met with chairman of commerce of Paris, Berlin, Moscow and London, discussing cooperation on convention and exhibition and awarded certificates of honorary president of Beijing Chamber of International Commerce to Mr. Pierre-Antoine GAILLY and Mr. Eric Schweitzer, chairman of chamber of commerce and industry of Paris and Berlin. The chairmen of the C5 agreed on the theme and host city of the next year’s C5 meeting, which is education and London.
