On invitation by British Chamber of Commerce and Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry, CCPIT Beijing Vice- Chairman LIN Bin led a delegation to make business visits to UK and France during Oct. 7-16, 2011, which tightened connection between CCPIT Beijing and local chambers of commerce.
During their visits, Mr. LIN Bin met with heads of Liverpool Chamber of Commerce, British Chamber of Commerce, Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Lyon Chamber of Commerce and Industry and France Chinese Council for the Promotion of International Trade, and discussed with them on enhancing business relationship, economic cooperation and information exchange between CCPIT Beijing, Beijing Chamber of International Commerce and their chambers. Mr. LIN observed how those chambers serve their member units, and introduced CHITEC, ICCIE and Beijing International Conference of Friendly Chambers of Commerce as well.
Liverpool Chamber of Commerce President Jack Stopfort showed strong interest in Beijing International Conference of Friendly Chambers of Commerce and expressed that he will take a delegation to participate in the Conference in 2013. During LIN’s stay in London, he specially invited Mr. CHEN Shaoshu, Executive Director of Beijing Chamber of International Commerce, Executive Vice-Chairman of CCPIT Beijing Dongcheng Branch, and Chairman of Board of Directors of Beijing Huajiang Culture Group Inc., who was also visiting UK, and YE Zhenzhen, Executive Director of Beijing Chamber of International Commerce, Head for business of enterprises in UK of Wenzhou Chamber of Commerce in Beijing to attend the meeting with heads of chambers of commerce in UK. The two entrepreneurs introduced their business in UK, and exchanged views with Ms. Christina Howell, Head of International Liaison Department of Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce Group and President of UK-SINO Enterprises Cooperation Project of British Chamber of Commerce, on various issues in their establishing business in UK.
