On May 20, 2011, Chairwoman XIONG Jiuling met with Mr. Nico Leerdam-Xie, Chairman of the Dutch Chinese Yong Entrepreneurs (DCYE), and Mrs. XIE Xiaochu, honorary chairwoman of the DCYE.
Chairwoman XIONG firstly welcomed the guests to attend the 14th CHITEC. She introduced that the service industry accounted for 80% in GDP and the manufacturing industry increasingly tended to the high-end in Beijing, which was the second city with the most headquarters of the Fortune 500 companies in the world; as the largest organization for economic, trading and commercial development, the CCPIT Beijing hoped to cooperate with the DCYE to exhibit and spread the Beijing’s advantageous investment environment in European areas to attract European enterprises to set up their headquarters and R & D centers here.
Mr. Nico Leerdam-Xie and Mrs. XIE Xiaochu thanked the organizing committee of the CHITECK for their warm reception. They stated that the presence at the CHITECK let them see the huge investment space and abundant cooperation opportunities in energy-saving and environment-friendly field in China. Many members of the DCYE, including low-carbon enterprises, green generation enterprises, IT and financial enterprises were very interested in the Chinese market; they hoped that an effective platform would be set up for Chinese and European enterprises in technical introduction and R&D establishment via joint efforts.
After the meeting, Chairwoman XIONG, on behalf of the CCPIT Beijing, signed a friendly cooperative agreement with the DCYE.
