Sponsored by Commerce Department of PRC, CCPIT and People’s Government of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, the 2011 China (Ningxia) International Investment and Trade Fair and China-Arab States Economic and Trade Forum (hereinafter referred to as “2012 China-Arab States Economic and Trade Forum”) will be held Sep. 21-25, 2011 in Yingchuan, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region.

 

The “2011 China-Arab States Economic and Trade Forum” will center around friendship, cooperation and common development. It is an effort to establish a high-end platform for commerce and trade communication, investment and cooperation between China and the world, especially the Arab states and Muslim regions. In due course, the following meeting events will take place: the Summit Conference of China-Arab States Economic and Trade Forum, China-Arab States Forum on International Trade and Economic Cooperation, China-Arab States Forum on International Cooperation in the field of energy, China-Arab States Forum on International Finance Cooperation, China-Arab States Forum of Youth Leaders, China-Arab States Forum on Science & Technology Cooperation, China-Arab States Forum of University President, China-Arab States Forum on Radio and Television Exchange, The First Summit Meeting of China (Yinchuan) International Muslim Entrepreneurs, The Fourth China (Ningxia) Hui Merchants Fair, 2011 Seminar on Chinese and Arabia Chambers of Commerce, Conference on Chinese Committee of China-Arab Business Council, The Sixth Ningxia-Taiwan Economic and Trade Cooperation Fair, The Third Halal Food and Muslim Commodities Enterprises Competition, 2011 China (Ningxia) Cooperation Symposium on Attracting High-Caliber Talents from Home and Abroad, and 2011 Halal Cooking Performance by China’s Best Cooks. There were also three Commodities and Trade Exhibitions, such as China International Halal Food and Muslim Commodities Exhibition, China-Arab States Energy and Chemical Products Exhibition, and China-Arab States Economic, Trade and Cultural Exchanges Exhibition, as well as five Investment and Business Workshops, including Investment Briefings by Arab States and Muslim Countries, Special Promotion Seminar of the Provinces (Municipalities, Autonomous Regions) in China, Match-Making Meeting on China-Arab States Mutual Recognition Mechanism for Halal Food Certification Standards, Match-Making Meeting on China-Arab States Culture and Tourist Cooperation, and China-Arab States Agriculture Economics, Trade and Investment Fair.

Chinese state Leaders, the heads from Commerce Department and CCPIT and political VIPs from member states of the Arab League, ministerial level officials, foreign envoys to China, representatives from related international economic organizations and certification bodies, and delegates from the provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities will be coming to the event.
