印度工商会联合会成立于1927年。作为印度最大、历史最悠久的商业组织，其对社会，政治，经济等领域都起到了不可替代的主导作用,其直接会员来自于私营及公共部门，包括有代表性的中小型企业及跨国公司，另在地区商会拥有超过83,000家会员单位。它旨在通过与全球贸易伙伴密切联系及提供一系列专业化的服务，完善政府的各项相关政策，提高会员企业竞争力和效率，扩大与世界各地区间的经贸商业合作，把印度商界同世界各地连接起来。

FICCI was Established in 1927, is the largest and oldest apex business organization in India. It plays a leading role in policy debates that are at the forefront of social, economic and political change.
FICCI has direct membership from the private as well as public sectors, including SMEs and MNCs, and an indirect membership of over 83,000 companies from regional chambers of commerce.
It works closely with the government on policy issues, enhancing efficiency, competitiveness and expanding business opportunities for industry through a range of specialised services and global linkages.
