The 8th China (Beijing) International Cultural & Creative Industry Expo Will Be Held Next Week

The 8th China (Beijing) International Cultural & Creative Industry Expo co-sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, General Administration of Press and Publication and State Administration of Radio Film and Television and Beijing Municipal Government will be held in Beijing from 6 to 10 November. Since Beijing International Cultural & Creative Industry Expo has been established, its influence has been continuously expanding, the brand effect has become more apparent, and this Expo has become a national landmark platform for international exchanges and cooperation of China's cultural and creative industries.
The Cultural & Creative Industry Expo held this time will take "Promoting Cultural Trade, and Accelerating Economic Upgrade" as the theme. In the five-day meeting, integrated activities, exhibition and presentation, sub-venues, forum conferences, promotion trade and creative activities will be held. There are over a hundred activities in the six series of activities. The main venue will be located in China International Exhibition Center. There are 16 theme exhibition areas, such as cultural art and animation games, public art, radio, film and television, cultural relics and museum related cultural and creative products, etc. There are 20 sub-venues in total, including 11 professional sub-venues and 9 sub-venues at the level of districts and counties. The exhibition area is maximal in all previous Expos.
Liu Yang, deputy director of Office of Organizing Committee of Cultural & Creative Industry Expo and deputy director of Beijing Trade Development Association, said, "We have set up sub-venues in various districts and counties this year. Some districts and counties are provided with seven or eight sub-venues, so a lot of people can be involved in some life changes caused by the cultural and creative industries after directly going out of home. For example, some activities in old cultural streets, such as Tqiaoqiao and Dashanlan, are still very attractive."
The Cultural & Creative Industry Expo held this time will hold the main forum, China Cultural and Creative Industry Development International Forum, and 6 special forums. The promotion trade activities of 13 special projects will also further strengthen the trading functions of the Cultural & Creative Industry Expo. It is reported that the previous seven Cultural & Creative Industry Expos have attracted more than 300 delegation groups of the government and industry circles from dozens of countries around the world and international organizations to come for exchanging culture and discussing cooperation. Tens of thousands of domestic and foreign cultural and creative enterprises and institutions have shown and exhibited the local most characteristic excellent cultural products. More than a thousand experts and scholars influential at home and abroad and well-known in the cultural industry and senior government authorities will make speeches in the Forum of Cultural & Creative Industry Expo. According to incomplete statistics, the previous seven Cultural & Creative Industry Expos have a total amount of 365.4 billion yuan only signed in the Expos.
