2011 China Creative Industry Summit Workshop Held in Beijing

On 11 November, 2011 China Creative Industry Summit Workshop will be held at Beijing International Media Center (BIMC). The event will be joint efforts of ICCIE Organizing Committee Office, China Copyright Protection Center, Air CBD Constructive and Administrative Commission, and China Annual Creative Industry Award Evaluation Commission Selection Committee.
The Workshop is an integral part of the ICCIE and has been held for five consecutive years. Widely recognized by relevant national departments and creative industry home and abroad, ICCIE has created its good branding image for many creative enterprises coupled with extensive positive social influence generated. Themed “Sci-tech carries culture, creative lights life,” the event will invite relevant government officials, industrial experts national and international, and creative enterprises, organizations and media to be present the workshop, discussing in-depth hot and key issues in the creative sector.
The world now is facing a complex macro economic situation. Europe’s debt crisis, US unemployment, Japan’s weakened economy, have all mounted to the difficulty of China’s steady and fast economic growth. But it is under this big gloomy backdrop, the economic and social value of creative industry is able to fully radiate its light. The current workshop will be a gala for China’s creative industry and will feature in themed discussions, project co-operation and merit awarding activities. It will be an important wind vane to “review the past and look into the future.” The International Copyright Service Innovation Summit and the Longteng Award - the 6th China Innovative Industry Annual Award Ceremony, will be the high light of this activity, an added color to the 6th ICCIE.
