Changyong Rhee,  Chief Economist of the Asian Development Bank (ADB)

李昌镛先生是亚开行的首席经济学家，也是亚开行在经济预测、趋势分析、经济监测以及研究部门方面的首席发言人。作为一位韩国公民，李先生从美国哈佛大学获得博士学位，于首尔国立大学获得经济学学士学位。

李先生拥有超过30年的专业经验。他曾是G20峰会首长级委员会秘书长，作为最高级会议筹备官员，他负责对首尔峰会日程进行指导和改进。在此之前，他是韩国金融服务委员会副主席，该委员会主要制定金融政策和条规并监管金融市场。他在金融服务委员会的任职期间，他为应对2008年全球经济危机做出贡献，包括发起企业重组基金、银行资本重组基金及金融稳定基金。1994至2008年，他是首尔国立大学的经济学教授，主要负责宏观经济、金融经济和韩国经济研究，并就这些研究课题发表许多文章。

Changyong Rhee is the Chief Economist of the Asian Development Bank (ADB). He is the chief spokesperson for ADB on economic forecasts and trends, and oversees the Economics and Research Department. Mr. Rhee, a national of the Republic of Korea, received his PhD in Economics from Harvard University, USA; and his Bachelors in Economics from Seoul National University.

Mr. Rhee has over 30 years of professional experience. He was the Secretary General of the Presidential Committee for the G20 Summit where he played a key role as a Sherpa to shape and advance the agenda for the Seoul Summit. Prior to becoming Secretary General, Mr. Rhee was the Vice Chairman of the Financial Services Commission (FSC) of the Republic of Korea, which is in charge of making financial policies and regulating and supervising financial markets. During his tenure at FSC, he was instrumental in developing strategic policy responses to the 2008 global economic crisis, including initiation of the Corporate Restructuring Fund, the Bank Recapitalization Fund, and the Financial Stabilization Fund. From 1994 to 2008, he was a Professor of Economics at Seoul National University where he undertook research in the fields of macroeconomics, financial economics, and the Korean economy, topics for which he has published widely.
