巴黎工商会成立于1803年，是80名企业家领导成员管理下的公法团体机构。巴黎工商会的工作涉及40万家企业生命的多个领域 — 商业、工业、服务业以及大巴黎区的经济发展。

巴黎工商会1995年成立北京办事处，2006年成立上海办事处，2007年成立独资公司，为商会企业国际化服务和教育培训项目提供支持。巴黎工商会也是最早关注法国中资企业状况的法国机构。1998年与中国驻法国大使馆合作为中国企业投资法国组织报告会。

此外，巴黎工商会还帮助法国中资企业成立自己的组织——法中企业协会。

Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Paris (CCIP) was founded in 1983, which is a public institution managed by 80 elected business leaders. It comes in many fields related to the lives of 400,000 businesses within its jurisdiction, commerce, industry, service and economic development of Greater Paris.

To meet a growing demand for information and matchmaking, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Paris opened two permanent offices in China, the first one since 1995 in Beijing, the second one in 2006 in Shanghai. CCIP was established a sole corporation in 2007, which is provided support for international services and enterprise’s education training programs.

CCIP is also the first French institutions that concerned about the situation of the French-funded enterprises. In 1998, it was in cooperation with the Chinese Embassy to organise report meeting between Chinese and French enterprises in order to mutual investment.

In addtion,CCIP has also helped the French-funded enterprises set up their own organizations -Association of France and China.
